Performers will include members from Crush Improv, GRIMprov, Experimental Farm Theatre, Hall of Justice, the Carleton Improv Association – CIA, and Aftermath Improv.

Alright folks time for a very special GRIMprov wrokshop. With more clowning around then usual.
The Eccentric Adam Zimmerman (aka zip-e) will be giving us a taste of his 15 years experience performing clown and absurdist characters. Clown and improv go hand in hand, then trip but get up to have more fun.

Alright folks it’s the experience you’ve all been waiting for: DJ Helicase has agreed to lead a workshop teaching how to work with music in improv! Be prepared to sing, rap, rhyme and go with the flow as he reveals how to work with an on-stage musician and will polish some of the musical skills of your own!

The first Wednesday of the month is right around the corner and GRIMprov is rev’ed up and ready to go with their next lab: What Else Can Go Wrong! Like our people’s choice winning Cop-Out, this game is a live and interactive show where the audience gets to yell those magic Words of “What Else Can Go Wrong?” to see the scene escalate to dramatic proportions!
All this fun will be happening at the Cock and Lion Pub (202 Sparks Street) this Wednesday April 2nd at 8pm! DJ Scrubbles will be replacing DJ Helicase on the kit. Special guests this week are Amanda Parker from the Carleton Improv Association (also known as the CIA) and Kristine Shadid of University of Ottawa’s English Improv Troupe (also known as MI-6) ! The show will be 5 dollars at the door and the place will be a-pumpin.

For the end of January laboratory GRIMprov is proud to present…. HEISTprov! Watch a crack team of mismatched characters try and get something they so dearly covet. You the audience gets to make some calls along the way picking the outcome of the movie you want to see unfold in front of your vary eyes! The first half will be our Cul-de-Sac so it’s a must-see!
The show is this Wednesday January 29th at 8pm at The Cock and Lion Pub (202 Sparks street). The show is five dollars at the door and the bar serves all sorts of adult beverages for you to enjoy.
